    Hello Jonas Salk Elementary Families,

    We wanted to share some important information as the school year comes to a close!

    1. Computer Check-in: We started the collection process for student computers today. Please check your student’s backpack(s). Your child should have received a “Student Netbook Checklist”. Please review this checklist with your student. This checklist will need to be reviewed, initialed, and returned to school on Friday, June 7th or Monday, June 10th. Beginning Friday, June 7th or Monday, June 10th, students will no longer bring their computers home.
    2. Overdue Library Books: It is important your students return any Library books checked out to them from the Jonas Salk Elementary Library. Our Librarian, should have already passed out the Overdue notices to all, outstanding books. If you cannot find your book, please come by the Office and pay the amount listed on the Notice. You are also able to purchase the same book and bring it as a replacement.
    3. Yearbook Distribution: Yearbooks are in! They will be passed out tomorrow, Friday, after school! PTA has purchased a LIMITED amount of extras and will be selling them after school on Friday, and during Intermission at the Talent Show, Friday Night. Side Note: Your student’s yearbook will be on HOLDif they have not turned in their Library Book or Computer.
    4. Talent Show: Please keep in mind that the Talent Show is tomorrow, Friday, June 7th, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. There are a limited amount of General Seating Tickets left for $3.00 each. Please don’t wait to purchase tickets at the door. Depending on availability, you may be turned away at the door if you don’t have a ticket.
    5. Last Day of School/5th Grade Promotion: The last day of school is Tuesday, June 11th, 2019. It is a Minimum Day. Please make sure you arrange pick up for your students at 12:15pm. The 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony will be from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Promotion visitors DO NOT need to sign-in in the office. Please enter the MPR directly from the parking lot. 5th Grade students will be dismissed after Promotion Ceremony and Refreshments.

    Hello Champions former families and other interested parties,

    As you may know by now, Jonas Salk ES has decided to discontinue allowing Champions to use our facilities for the 2019-20 school year (their last day on our site will be the week of June 10th. Please see the Champions flier for details on how to obtain your enrollment refunds). 

    Effective June 12th, we will begin allowing a different company to use our facilities. Their flier is attached here and we are certain that you will be pleased with their service. Reserve your spot ASAP as they are certain to go quickly.

    Hello Jonas Salk families...

    We're having another Beautification Day! We would love to have you come over and assist! We'll have some supplies but completely welcome you to bring some cleaning supplies as well! The more the better!

    One of our biggest projects this weekend is to continue working on the sensory pathway! If you've already seen it on campus... you already know this is an AWESOME project in progress!

    Special request: We're hoping to have someone run the Pressure Washer to really get out some of that tough grime around campus! =)
